Jesse James what’s next in store for you
Antonia : I’m doing a film in Auckland at the moment called “Timeslow”, then after that I’m doing a tour of a play I did a couple of years ago called “Station to Station”.
Yura Bones How did you feel when you found out The Tribe season 6 was canceled?
Antonia: I felt like it was the right time for the show to finish because the premise relied on the fact that we were all children, and by the end of season 5 (my last season on the show) I was 17, as were a lot of the other cast members, so it didn’t make sense for it to keep going.
Juliet Swann do you reckon you will ever come to Whangamata in New Zealand or come to Auckland for singings or anything ?(: xx
Antonia: Well, I live in Auckland but I don’t know if there are any planned signings or anything, I’m not really in charge of things like that, sorry! And I’d love to come to Whangamata one day, I hear it’s really beautiful there.
Jessica Baker is season 6 the last one ever i got told it was is that true will there b season 7 or not?
Antonia : No, sadly season 6 of Outrageous was the last one, as far as I know there won’t be any more.
Alison Elliott why did Outrageous Fortune come to an end? i’ve never seen a real reason anywhere and it was such a brilliant show with surely many more story lines out there to continue it on
Antonia : Thanks for your lovely comment! I think the reason it finished was that the everyone involved wanted the show to end on a high, when it was still successful and had lots of momentum, as opposed to running the risk of doing one series too many and becoming the show that used to be good, but didn’t know when to quit.
Haylz Warner What was the 1st “big” break you got?? from a personal perspective not a career point of view??
Antonia : I’m not quite sure what you mean by a “personal perspective”. Outrageous was definitely my biggest break in terms of my career, which impacted on my personal life in many ways, so in that sense, yes, it was a big break across the board.
Ryan Weavell Will there be a chance to see you in Australia. On stage or convention
Antonia: I hope so! I would love to work in Australia and it definitely is something I’m seriously thinking about.
Eric Brecher Hi Antonia, Can I please have Jessica’s job?
Antonia: Haha! You’ll have to talk to her about that, but I doubt it! She does an excellent job.
Laura McCafferty Would you ever consider moving to the UK or USA to act? If so which tv show could you see yourself in?
Antonia: Yes I’d love to act in both the UK or USA. I’m watching Downton Abbey at the moment and I would LOVE to perform in a period drama like that.
Billie Vojvodich would u consider doing more seasons of outrageous fortune?
Antonia: Yes I would, I really loved being part of the show and I miss not working on it anymore.
Eva Marynowicz What’s your favourite loretta moment?
Antonia: Oohh, this is a tricky question! There were so many…her wedding day would be up there though.
Kate Evans Do you have double jointed elbows? Haha. I do and I was watching Outrageous Fortune and noticed your arm can bend like mine :L
Antonia: haha! Ummm..I don’t think so, maybe I do and didn’t realise! You’re very observant to notice that though
Antonia has left you all a message:
Thanks so much to everyone for all your support and interest in my career, it means a lot and I really appreciate it. Antonia Prebble
